United Skates Celebrates 50 Years

The First United Methodist Church, 715 Diamond Drive (adjacent to Sullivan Field) has hosted the Friday night skate program called “United Skates” for 50 years.  May 11th was the true golden anniversary of the skate program.

Unfunded Phase II CIP Survey Results

During the last week, the Los Alamos Daily Post has conducted its first poll. Readers were asked to “Rank the following unfunded Phase II CIP projects in the order in which they preferred to see them completed (or choose “Do not Proceed” for projects they did not want to see funded by Los Alamos County.)

The Los Alamos Daily Post received 152 valid votes.

Girls Softball State Championship Today @ 8 a.m. and noon

The six seed Lady Hilltoppers take on the third seed  Los Lunas’s Lady Tigers this morning at 8am at Cleveland High School in Rio Rancho. The State Championchip is a double elimination tournament.
