During lunch 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12 at the Betty Ehart Senior Center, Los Alamos County is interested in hearing from seniors about gaps in services in the community.

Reserve a spot for lunch by 10 a.m. Wednesday. Lunch includes chicken, chile, cheese soup, crackers and applesauce for a suggested $5 donation for members 60 and over. Read More

On The Job In Los Alamos: At Nature Center

On the job in Los Alamos Thursday afternoon at the Los Alamos Nature Center is Ashleigh Lusher who moved to town from Austin, Texas to begin work at the center in September of 2019. As gift shop coordinator, she handles purchasing as well as stocking and record keeping. Lusher also is the program coordinator and has recently taken over critter care, ensuring that the live critters at the center are happy and healthy and ready for interactions with the public. The Democratic Party of Los Alamos County meet 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb 10 in Building 6 at UNM-LA.

The featured speaker is Pat Davis, an Albuquerque City Councilor and Chair of the Governor’s cannabis legalization working group.

The featured speaker for the Monday, March 9 meeting is State Auditor Brian Colón.
