JOHN H. WARREN May 14, 1932 – Nov. 16, 2024

John H. Warren, age 92, died on November 16, 2024, at the Neighborhood Life Plan Community in Rio Rancho, NM.

John was born on May 14, 1932, in McLeansboro, Illinois to Inman C. and Mildred E. (Hamilton) Warren. He had one sister, Martha D. Cinotto, who died in 1967.

John married Wilma Mae Nuebel on August 9, 1959. She preceded him in death in 1980.

John is survived by four children from this marriage; daughter Dianna L. Hutchison (Craig) of Carlsbad, NM and sons Russell N. Warren (Pamela) of West Richland, WA, Roger J. Warren (Vickie) of Rockaway Beach, OR, and Ronald W. Warren (Laura) of Las Vegas, NV. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

On June 10, 1988, John married Marjorie Ann (Utecht) Kressin who preceded him in death in 2021. He is survived by step-son Ken Kressin (Barb) of Jemez Springs, NM and preceded in death by step-son Paul Kressin (Maryann) in 2022.

John graduated from Southern Illinois University then entered the United States Air Force. At the end of his service he attended University of Illinois. After receiving his MS degree, he moved to New Mexico and worked at the Los Alamos National Laboratory for 35 years. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan.

A private celebration of John’s life will be held at a later date.
