Los Alamos High School To Honor 2026 Athletic Hall Of Fame Class

Six new inductees will be joining the sixty Los Alamos High School Athletic Hall of Fame members next month. They will be honored at a brunch banquet at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 11 at Fuller Lodge.

Members of the 9th Hall of Fame class include:

  • Rob Hipwood
  • Carmen Nogar
  • Josh Nogar
  • Gretchen Torres

This event will be open to the public. Tickets are on sale for $35 per person and may be purchased at 2026 LAHS Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Tickets.

Girls Class 4A Bracket Adjustment For 2026 Nusenda Credit Union State Basketball Championships

We regret to announce an error was discovered in the seeding and selection process of the Girls Class 4A Bracket for the 2026 Nusenda Credit Union State Basketball Championships.

The comparison process between St. Pius X High School, Espanola Valley High School, and Shiprock High School resulted in the misplacement of teams seeded 11-15.

Upon a thorough review, the NMAA has corrected the bracket and the new 11-15 seeds are as follows: Shiprock (11), St. Pius X (12), Grants (13), Espanola Valley (14), and Pojoaque Valley (15). The new bracket is now available and all teams in the Girls Read More

The YMCA’s Wildcat Basketball program is celebrating another successful season thanks in part to a $1,500 grant from the Los Alamos Community Foundation.

Now in its second year, Wildcat Basketball has quickly become a valued community tradition, bringing together five local elementary schools for an annual championship. The winning team earns the honor of displaying a traveling trophy until the next season, but the real victory extends far beyond the scoreboard.

Toppers Win Playoff Game Against Pintos 56-33 … Take On Tigers Tonight In Taos

The Toppers hosted the Moriarty pintos in a game played Tuesday night in Griffith Gymnasium. The Toppers dominated the Pintos and cruised to a 56-33 victory.
