Jemez Mountain Fire Protection Project Update

In more good news, the Jemez Mountain Fire Protection Project hit a major milestone ahead of schedule. As of Jan. 29, Camp May Road and all trails accessible via the road are fully open—Phase II is complete!

All waterline installations from the bottom of Camp May Road up to Pajarito are finished, with the remaining work (road repaving and electrical/fiber installations) to resume in the spring.

This progress brings us one step closer to dramatically improved snowmaking capabilities by next season. For now, see you on the mountain this weekend!
